Lights Fermentation, Sound, & Object Installation
Indonesia, 2015

In this work, Krisgath Achmad plays with the logics of lightings, sounds, and how daily objects could posess different meanings when placed on the same frame with other medium ideas. Objects, in general, pose the history of ideas and the history of matter. For certain people, an object does not only relate with a binding history; but further to the concept of happiness and faith.

Under the theme of ‘waters’, Krisgath tries to serve an investigation upon shifting in perceptions, structures, situations, about population migrations, transfers and establishments; which in the end form the social, cultural, political, economic, and belief toward the concepts of happiness and satisfaction. He does not try to feature the past as a specific case, but rather seeing the optimism which was tried to be built upon tragedies in the past.
