Baladrán utilizes materials from two local Czech and Slovakia newspapers – Rudé právo (1971-1989) representing the leftist idealism, as well as Lidové noviny (1989—2008) representing the right wing ideals. Baladrán had created some type of side-notes (in visual form) to map the ideas inherited by the two developing ideologies, which currently are against each other. The photographs of the two newspapers are horizontally aligned, printed, and stamped on the exhibition hall’s walls as an installation artwork, crossing each sides of the wall, door cracks and windows.

The artwork is present as a sketch or key to identify the embodiment, form (shapes) and positions of the possibilities to occur or reoccur in the future time – a condition of post economic distress era within the scope of global market at the end of the 21st century, as marked by the 2008 Global Economic Crisis.

As it is with the tradition of collaging newspaper contents, Baladrán lures us to discover and explore the spaces, which in certain conditions (as aligned with the social context, economy and politics), are limited with the cultural tensions present in the society. To cozen the esthetics of art, Baladrán’s side notes are narrative mumblings changing its function into some sort of visual guidelines towards the world put in a space by various factors, as they determine the development of the social and economic system.
